Tunnel Rush tips and strategy
- Track the rotation, not the obstacles. If you keep a fixed position in the tunnel you will always drift into something.
- Move in small increments. Large sweeps across the tunnel are how you hit an obstacle you never saw.
- Obstacles often come in runs along the tunnel's length. Clearing one means planning for the next two.
- Around 40 seconds the rotation speeds up noticeably. Expect it and hold your lane rather than panicking across the width.
- Short practice sessions beat long grinds. Tunnel Rush punishes tired hands more than any other game on this list.
About Tunnel Rush
You fly forward automatically inside a spinning cylindrical tunnel. Floating obstacles drift towards you. You can move around the inside wall of the tunnel to dodge them, but the tunnel itself is rotating, which means every dodge has to account for the fact that your target position is also moving.
Speed increases the longer you survive. By the one-minute mark the tunnel is spinning fast enough that obstacles sweep across your view in a blur, and the run is being decided by pattern recognition rather than conscious reaction.
There is no progression system, no unlocks and no story. It is a score, a restart button, and an unreasonable amount of your afternoon.
