Run 3
Run 3 is a platformer played inside a tunnel floating in space, where the floor has gaps in it and falling off the edge is a real, permanent consequence. It has been played billions of times, and it still holds up because the level design is genuinely good.

Run 3 tips and strategy
- Falling is not always failure. In several level types the lower tunnel is the intended route and much faster than jumping.
- Learn which character suits each level family before you grind it. Switching characters is often faster than a hundred retries.
- Jump late rather than early. Most failed runs come from jumping a fraction too soon and landing on the far lip of a hole.
- Watch the tunnel walls for the faint outline of holes ahead β they are visible before they reach you.
- The pause menu is free. Use it when a level's layout is confusing rather than guessing and restarting.
About Run 3
You control a small alien running through a cylindrical tunnel. There are holes in the tunnel floor. Jump over them, or fall through them and land on a lower level of the tunnel β which is sometimes the fastest route forward and sometimes the end of your run. The tension comes from not quite knowing which.
Run 3 has a large roster of unlockable characters, and each one plays differently. Some jump higher, some run faster, some have abilities that change how you handle a specific level type. Finding the character that suits a level you are stuck on is the actual skill of the game.
It is a level-based game rather than an endless one, so there is a finish line. Progress saves locally in your browser, which means you can close the tab mid-series and come back to it.
